Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Systems Architect / TS/SCI required
Location: California
Define architectures for new RF systems and lead development and delivery to customers.
Required skillset to be considered:
Defines system architectures within international and domestic Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) marketplace, with emphasis on Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Direction Finding (DF) Systems.
Leads selection of RF components within defined architectures
Authors or LEADs the development of the following:
Concept of Operations (CONOPs)
System Architectures
System Requirements
System Development Plans
System Integration and Test Plans
System Validation Plans
Does your foundation of work include:
Leads 3 to 5 year long cradle-to-grave Systems Engineering efforts to ensure the product both meets the requirements and supports customer’s needs.
Decomposes detailed system-level requirements based on non-technical mission objectives
Supports decomposition of architectures and objectives into system requirements and further decomposition within specific engineering domains.
Conduct trade studies into technologies supporting SIGINT solutions
Establishes and maintains frequent Intelligence Community (IC) and Dept of Defense (DoD) customer contacts in the international and domestic SIGINT, COMINT/DF, and EW marketplace
Collaborates with customers to develop system Concept of Operations (CONOPS), architectures, and requirements for SIGINT, COMINT/DF, and EW systems
Develops and presents briefing packages of SIGINT capabilities and system offerings to international and domestic customers
Works closely with business area technical and management team to align business area strategy, capabilities, investments, and offerings with SIGINT, COMINT/DF and EW markets
Authors white-papers detailing technical specifics of products in support of obtaining export licenses for business pursuits in the international marketplace.
Extensive experience in areas & related to the following technology areas:
RF signal processing system design
Analyzing and characterizing SATCOM signals
Collection and analysis of communication signals in L, C, and K spectrums
Detailed understanding of the SIGINT, COMINT/DF and EW marketplace including major customers and industry competitors Work effectively in a cross functional team as well as a diverse customer base
Develop testing criteria and execute validation of designs
Proven technical leadership skills ability to generate and deliver creative problem solutions Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency
MSEE w/8+ years’ experience OR BSEE w/10+ years’ experience. Agile experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: DOD TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire / must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
Travel - 100% On-Site or Remote. Remote would require travel to the site in San Jose, CA a couple of times a month for a couple of days and travel worldwide, up to 20%.

Analog Design Lead DoD Secret security clearance required
Location: North Carolina
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
BSEE, 5+ years of job-related experience OR MSEE, 3+ years of job-related experience.
Leading the design, development, and testing of analog and High Voltage electronic systems and components AND guiding the teams of junior engineers by ensuring their performance and reliability of the undersea systems.
Key responsibilities involve circuit design, simulation, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional technology teams.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Lead an Analog design team with product ownership and responsibility from initial concept definition through release to manufacturing
Direct, guide and participate in activities responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, integrated circuits for a variety of subsea applications
Guide and mentor junior engineers in best practices for analog design, testing methodologies, and problem-solving Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and translate them into actionable designs. Manage team assignments, provide design guidance as needed, develop schedules, and monitor project progress.
Evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives Conduct thorough simulations and analyses to validate designs using tools like SPICE and Cadence.
Support production and test engineering teams during product transfer to manufacturing. Interface with customers to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide support. Prepare product briefs, datasheets, and application notes.
Contribute to roadmap formulation and the development of new product concepts.
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
Deep understanding of analog circuit design principles and experience with various circuit topologies. Proficiency in using CAD tools like Mentor Graphics or Altium and SPICE for circuit simulation and verification. Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks, and provide constructive feedback.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects effectively to meet deadlines and achieve technical objectives.
Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components
The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting
Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design experience is desirable. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters.
High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology is desirable. Magnetics Design and High Speed Design experience are desirable

Compensation Range: $115,674.00 - $128,325.00
