Software Engineer TS/SCI CI Poly Required

Software Engineer to join our client’s high-performing agile team that uses the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology to support a nationally significant and fast-paced program. Program execution follows DEVOPS best practices and employs robust development, test, and production environments. Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and test automation tools are utilized alongside a full suite of team collaboration tools. The program is focused on injecting new technology and adding advanced capabilities in support of an ongoing operational system.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete software development tasks both individually and as a member of an agile team.

  • Participate in program increment planning and related team activities.

  • Analyze and study complex system requirements, use design software tools, provide support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques with the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools

  • Using sound software engineering principles to ensure that developed code is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault-tolerant, and reusable.

  • Provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process and will promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration by creating common functions and shared actions for developers and testers.

  • Engineer, author, tune and document automation scripts in a development environment and deploy to the test/production bench.

Required Qualifications:

  • Clearance: TS/SCI w CI Poly REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Relevant work experience may be substituted for a Degree

  • Demonstrated experience with Java is required

  • Experience or familiarity with multiple of the following: Java/JEE, Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, WADL, PERL, PowerShell, VBS, Eclipse, Postgres, Oracle, Jenkins on a Windows platform.

  • Experience with User Interface development, knowledge of databases and structures, and/or experience working with XHTML, HTML, XML, XSLT

  • Experience developing on Windows, and/or Linux operating systems

  • Must have a strong understanding of sound software development principles and practices

  • Must be able to plan and prioritize personal tasking and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Signals Intelligence Systems Architect DoD TS/SCI 9 / 80 schedule

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Supports programs within international and domestic Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) marketplace, with emphasis on Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Direction Finding (DF) Systems.

  • Leads cradle-to-grave Systems Engineering efforts from creating initial CONOPs through System Development, Implementation, Integration, Testing, Verification, Validation, and all portions in between to ensure the product both meets the requirements and supports our customer’s needs.

  • Defines system architectures based on non-technical mission objectives

  • Supports decomposition of architectures and objectives into system requirements and further decomposition within specific engineering domains.

  • Conduct trade studies into technologies supporting SIGINT solutions

  • Establishes and maintains frequent Intelligence Community (IC) and Defense customer contacts in the international and domestic SIGINT, COMINT/DF, and EW marketplace

  • Collaborates with customers to develop system Concept of Operations (CONOPS), architectures, and requirements for SIGINT, COMINT/DF, and EW systems

  • Develops and presents briefing packages of GDMS SIGINT capabilities and system offerings to international and domestic customers

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Our client are seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to take on a critical role in supporting the Complex Milling / Manufacturing Group. The primary responsibility will be supporting the development of new product / development manufacturing processes, as well as applying continuous improvement manufacturing technologies to existing or mature production programs.

Responsiblities

  • Evaluate and develop new and emerging technologies in manufacturing engineering and production process development while coordinating DFM efforts amongst various development engineering groups for new and existing programs.

  • Determine manufacturing procedures, operation sequencing, prepare tooling and gauge lists, create, and prove out N/C programs, writing of detailed operations sheets and work instructions to produce complex milled machined parts and sub-assemblies.

  • Prepare, monitor, and update engineered or estimated time standards for set up and run hours, man to machine ratios and economic run quantities for each component’s processes throughout the entire parts routing.

  • Provide detailed cost estimates for new business capture and process improvement efforts.

  • Leadership in new manufacturing capital equipment evaluation, justification, purchasing and implementation.

  • Project leadership opportunities assigned by the Group Lead and / or Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

  • Support of production automated manufacturing cells, driving process stability to achieve reduced attended labor and human factor variation. Assignment/Ownership of a dedicated manufacturing cell is likely.

  • Some international and/or domestic travel as required (5% or approx. two weeks/year).

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Eng or Tech) AND 5 years+ experience Hands-on machining experience w/milled parts. A progressive foundation of experience with increasing responsibility. CAD/CAM CNC milled parts programming experience (Siemens NX preferred). Fluent in G&M Code programming. Lean belt certification a plus

  • Strong cutting tool and workholding knowledge, selection, and design. Quick change and automation tooling / workholding experience a plus.

  • Strong manufacturing process knowledge to create efficient CNC programs for complex milled parts. Ability to provide guidance and direction to other manufacturing engineers. Experience developing automated and advanced manufacturing systems.

  • Experience in machining a wide variety of Aerospace materials (Aluminum, Titanium, Stainless Steels, etc) on complex milled parts. 5-Axis Machining center programming experience required. Experience with these machines is a plus: 5-Axis Global Machining Platform consists of Okuma MU-4000V, MU-5000V, MU-8000V and Mazak I-600 machines.

  • Foundation of experience must include: CNC machining experience, CAD/CAM, G&M Code programming, Cutting Tool, 5-Axis machining center programming and Complex Milled parts

  • Experience with MS Project is a plus. Strong computer skills proficiency. MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T.
